Kevin Tseng - CEO, Lumina Vision Partners

Kevin Tseng

Kevin has spent the majority of his career in private equity investing alongside talented operational managers and entrepreneurial company founders, building for operational growth, either organically or through acquisition. For the 5 years prior to founding Lumina Vision Partners, Kevin was a Vice President within the healthcare services team at Health Evolution Partners (“HEP”, a San Francisco-based $500 million private equity fund).

While at HEP, Kevin analyzed and executed high-growth, lower middle-market healthcare investments. Kevin was also a Board Member of two HEP companies, Optimal Radiology (an outsourced radiology provider to hospitals nationwide) and Halcyon Healthcare. Kevin helped lead HEP’s investment in Halcyon, a hospice acquisition platform based in the Southeastern U.S. Over the course of 4 years, HEP and Halcyon acquired and integrated 5 hospice businesses. HEP sold Halcyon to LHC Group (a publicly-traded home health and hospice company).

In addition, as Executive Vice President with Optimal Radiology Kevin led the operational sales team while pursuing strategic alternatives for the business. Kevin’s efforts led to the successful sale of Optimal to Aris Teleradiology.

Prior to joining HEP, Kevin was a member of the investment team at J.W. Childs Associates (a Boston-based $2 billion private equity fund), where he focused on healthcare, consumer and specialty retail investments. Kevin was also an analyst in the healthcare investment banking group within Credit Suisse in New York.

A native of Cleveland, OH, Kevin and his wife currently reside in Scottsdale, AZ. In their spare time they can be found hiking, skiing, and enjoying the outdoors. Kevin holds a B.S.B.A. in Finance from the Max M. Fisher College of Business at Ohio State University.
